This weeks tested product is ‘Ultimate Shine Solid Shampoo‘ by Lush.

This product is vegan, biodegradable, not tested on animals, no sodium lauryl sulphate.  The lather is fantastic and I did notice extra shiny hair (not greasy, just shiny) the very first time I used this solid shampoo.

The only caution I would give, is that you have a place where this solid shampoo can dry out while not being used.  Just like you wouldn’t leave a bar of soap in a puddle of water, you should place this solid shampoo in an area where it will not stay soaking all day long.

Our tested product for this week is ‘Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser.’ Personally, it did wonders for clearing up my occasional breakouts, but it did take about a months worth of regular use (1-2 times per day, always after the gym). In fact, I accidentally left my first bottle at the gym…needless to say, no one turned it in.

Well, those are my two cents, but keep in mind that if you are lucky enough to have a Kiehl’s close by, you can always just walk in and ask for samples of this lovely product and try it out before buying.

This weeks tested product is So Refined – Jojoba & Mint Facial Scrub (81% Certified Organic) by Kiss My Face.

This exfoliating scrub gets the job done, is largely comprised of organic ingredients and leaves a lovely tingly feeling (thanks to the mint).
